Skill Education
Skill education, often referred to as vocational or technical training, is designed to provide individuals with the practical expertise and competencies required for specific careers or industries. Unlike conventional academic education, which tends to focus on abstract theories and broad-based knowledge, skill education prioritizes real-world applications and hands-on learning. It equips learners with specialized skills tailored to particular professions, fostering career readiness and enabling them to excel in their chosen trade or field through practical experience and targeted training.
Under Skill Education, the following activities were conducted in the Vidyalaya:
- Interaction with people engaged in different Professions.
- Interaction with people doing works like Drilling, Painting, Signboard making, Steel framing work, Grass cutting using Grass cutting machine, Electrician, Conservancy workers, Disaster management staff like Fire Fighting staff etc.
- Students learnt the Art of shaping clay into different face models to some extent.
- They are learning the use of different Carpentry tools, Electricians tools.
- Students were also engaged in simple Electrical repairing works, Cleaning works.
- Some of the students were taught the skill of some professions like – Lecturer, Policeman, Businessman, Singer, Orator, Builder etc.
